I am currently in network the following insurance plans: Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna. I am currently in the process with getting credentialed with Oscar, Oxford, United Healthcare (UHC/UNH).
Wirtz Mindful Psychiatry & Wellness partners with Headway to manage billing and insurance claims. To use insurance, please go to this link to set up an account, add your insurance and payment details, and sign their consent. This should take about 5-10 minutes. This must be done 5 days before your first appointment.
Visit costs (e.g., copays, coinsurance, or deductibles) depend on your specific insurance coverage. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please contact your insurance provider directly using the number listed on your insurance card. The cost of your visit will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the day of service.
Self Pay
If you do not have in-network insurance or choose not to use them, you may pay for your visits out of pocket (self-pay). Payments are automatically charged to your card on file at the time of your appointment.
Psychiatric evaluations: $300, 60 minutes
Medication management follow ups: $150, 30 minutes
Autism assessment: Fees range from $525–$1,900, depending on your needs and goals — such as self identification vs a formal diagnostic evaluation. Due to insurance limitations, Appointment #3 (which includes completion of the MIGDAS-2 and SRS-2) is self-pay only. However, all other appointments in the assessment process may be covered by in-network insurance. See the Autism Assessment page for more details.
Out of Network Benefits
Some insurance plans include Out-of-Network (OON) mental health benefits. If your plan offers these, you’ll pay for sessions upfront and may be eligible for reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
To find out if you have OON coverage, contact your insurance provider and ask:
Do I have Out-of-Network mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, how much is it?
What percentage of the session cost is reimbursed after I meet my deductible?
I’m happy to provide a Superbill (an itemized receipt) after each session to help with reimbursement, if eligible.
